KUPANG, KOMPAS.com – Government of Timor Tengah Utara (TTU), Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), has been set aside for the construction of 30 046 livable housing intended for the poor.
TTU Regent Raymundus Sau Fernandez said, tens of thousands of homes will be built in stages over five years.

Housing assistance, continued Raymundus, divided into three categories, namely, first, for citizens who have emergency home or no home at all. They were given cash assistance amounting to Rp 25 million.
For residents with a dirt floor houses and tin roofs and walls regal, they were given assistance worth USD 17 million.
Furthermore, the last category is people have a semi-permanent home. They obtain assistance money of Rp 10 million.

The source of funds the construction of the house comes from the district budget TTU with an allocation of Rp 80 billion each year.
Raymundus hope this assistance program run smoothly so that the poor people in the region could have a home livable and healthy, as well as to reduce poverty in the TTU.
