China Want to Make Indonesia as a base in Southeast Asia


JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Construction of a fast train from Jakarta to Bandung carried out in cooperation between Indonesia and China through Indonesia PT Fast Trains China (KCIC).

Wika itself is one state-owned enterprise (SOE) is incorporated in KCIC.

Three other state enterprises were also included in the consortium is PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), PTPN VIII (Persero) and PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk.

The composition of the ownership is each Wika 38 percent, KAI and PTPN VIII by 25 percent, and Jasa Marga is 12 percent.
