President Jokowi Request Developers Focus Build People’s House

JAKARTA, jktproperty.com – President Joko Widodo require developers who are members of Real Estate Indonesia (REI) to focus on building the people’s house.

“Let us work, focus on building for the public and ensure that the people of Indonesia have a decent place to live,” Jokowi said when opening the National Conference (National Conference) REI XV-2016 in Jakarta (29/11).

According to the president, the current number of backlog housing in Indonesia is still high, which amounted to 11 million units. Jokowi also explained that the core of the Economic Policy Package to-13 that has been launched is that in order to expedite the provision of houses for low-income communities (MBR) at an affordable price. The package while reducing the regulatory and cost for developers to build houses.
