President Promises PP Licensing Completed December

                            

Jakarta – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) ensure, government regulation (PP) about the rules derived from the economic policy package to-13 regarding licensing the property sector will be completed in December.

According to Jokowi, the government issued a package to-13 in order to facilitate the licensing process in the property sector, particularly for housing projects for low-income communities (MBR).

Jokowi said the economic package to the 13 already done deregulation and simplification of the property sector. In order for housing construction programs and the housing backlog of 11.9 million housing units continues to decrease.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the DPP REI, Eddy Hussy said, developers welcomed the government issued a policy of economic policy package to-13 regarding licensing. However, since the policy is issued no PP as a legal umbrella.

“We want the government to speed up the issuance of PP economic policy package to-13 about licensing, as the legal basis of our field,” said Eddy Hussy.
