Arquipelago Contemporary Arts Centre was designed by the architectural firm from Portugal, Menos e Mais and architects Joao Mendes Ribeiro.

Second, Ring of Remembrance, France. The monument is called the original L’Anneau de la memoire. Another name is Ring of Memory.
Ring of Remembrance was designed by architect Philippe Prost and was completed in 2014. The monument was built to commemorate the 579.606 soldiers from 40 countries who died in World War I battles against the Germans.

This monument is elliptical in shape and consisting of 500 metal panels, each panel has a height of almost 3 meters. Each panel contains 1200 names of soldiers who arranged alphabetically last name. Panel 500th left blank reserved for the name of the newly discovered.
