Jakarta – national entrepreneur, Sugianto Kusuma (Aguan), seems to never feel tired to always help alleviate the suffering of others. Through the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation Indonesia, the head of the Supreme Sedayu Group (ASG), the Program initiated the birth of Kampung Bebenah.
“Kampung Bebenah program was first held on December 17, 2006 in Jakarta with the theme 3S Program, namely Healthy Environment, Healthy Families and Healthy economy,” said Aguan, in Jakarta, Tuesday (6/12).
Vice Chairman of the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation is continuing, to locations in Jakarta, which is targeted at them are Dadap area of West Jakarta with the number of home renovation 82 units. For West Java (Jabar), there is one location in Bandung with the renovation of the house about 28 units. Average other cities were also selected is Makassar and Medan.
“In total, Kampung Bebenah program to date have reached approximately 1,056 units of houses,” he explained.
Further Aguan said beneficiaries of home renovation is the Dhuafa, poor families who own a home uninhabitable or who are victims of a fire.
“Generally chosen because of concerns the volunteers who saw the condition of the house is less feasible and does not support the health or at the instigation of local government and commercial enterprises,” he explained.

“While at home, one can feel warm and peaceful with the family. In fact, out there are still many families living in makeshift homes, and can not protect them from the heat and the rain,” he said.
Through Kampung Bebenah Program, said Aguan, is expected to help improve the lives of citizens and improve environmental conditions.
“With a better home and comfortable, is expected to be a starting point for citizens to achieve a better life and in harmony with his family,” he concluded.
