JAKARTA – The growth of residential market in eastern Indonesia such as Jakarta corridor began to grow affected the development of infrastructure such as highways and railways.

“This is to reflect on the impact of the construction of Toll Road Jakarta – Cikampek first. While the toll it began operations, growth in occupancy in the vicinity started to push up to 20%,” said Ali when contacted by Investor Daily in Jakarta, recently.

Meanwhile, Alipertumbuhan said the property market in the eastern corridor of Jakarta is inseparable from the development of industrial estates in Bekasi and surrounding areas stretching from Jababeka, Cikarang until Karawang.

“For the long term, the property market in this area would be very good prospects. Especially foreign investors are very high to the industrial area,” he said.

On the other hand, he said, the government should keep an eye on rising property prices were not reasonable. Generally, it happens when the infrastructure facilities have been completed and started operation.

Ali pointed out, the construction of high speed train Jakarta – Bandung to be anticipated by the government. The reason, according to the master plan, along the corridor will be integrated area.
