House Olveh itself historic. It is the Eigen Hulp Verzekeringsmaatschappij Onderlinge office (OLVEH). The office was designed by the architectural firm C.P. Schoemaker en Associatie-Architecten & Ingenieurs and built between 1921 to 1922.
architect bureau is owned by Richard Leonard Arnold Schoemaker and Wolff Schoemaker. Schoemaker brothers is also a professor of architecture at the Technische Hoogeschool te Bandoeng, the forerunner of the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB).
