House Olveh itself historic. It is the Eigen Hulp Verzekeringsmaatschappij Onderlinge office (OLVEH). The office was designed by the architectural firm C.P. Schoemaker en Associatie-Architecten & Ingenieurs and built between 1921 to 1922.

architect bureau is owned by Richard Leonard Arnold Schoemaker and Wolff Schoemaker. Schoemaker brothers is also a professor of architecture at the Technische Hoogeschool te Bandoeng, the forerunner of the Institute of Technology Bandung (ITB).

Olveh is an insurance company in the Dutch era. This building is art deco style. Now the building is under the auspices of the assets of PT BNI Life Insurance.
