JAKARTA – PT Bintan Lagoon will expand by developing tourist area of Bintan Lagoon Resort (BLR) on an area of 310 hectares (ha) in the next five years. The Company will work with national and foreign investors in the project. On the other hand, BLR is also conducting a rebranding after acquired by investors from Singapore.
President Bintan Lagoon Resort Moe Ibrahim, said, BLR has had a masterplan for the development of the tourist area. Although reluctant to mention the amount of investment required, Moe said it would build a different property as before. Among them, according to Moe the villas, retail space, beauty center, as well as a budget hotel. In addition, the hospitality school will be built in the BLR.
“We need substantial funds for all administered alone. His project will be launched next year while inviting investors from various regions. We are looking for investors with a unique idea in working on the property, “said Moe in Bintan, not long ago.

We offer several attractive packages directed into these markets with the core message that is clear, “he said.
Meanwhile, Moe said the average occupancy rate of rooms (occupancy rate) BLR could reach 85% by the end of week. In addition, foreign tourists making up more than half of the visitors coming to BLR.
Bintan Lagoon Resort is an integrated destination that supports the lifestyle to relax, golf, corporate meetings and incentives. The BLR is accessible from Jakarta by air for 60 minutes to Bintan, and 30 minutes by ferry from Singapore or Batam.
