JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Public Works and the Ministry of Housing allocated funds for self-help housing construction amounted to Rp 1.3 trillion this year.
Until now, the budget has been absorbed almost entirely, or about 96 percent of issued through Non Governmental Housing assistance (BSPs).
“BSPs has been reached to 96 800 houses across Indonesia in 33 provinces,” said the Head of Housing Sub Governmental Bisma Staniarto current media discussion in the Ministry PUPR, Jakarta, Friday (11/11 /2016).

Until now, the government has built 96 800 houses. To get around the gap between the existing budget targets, the government is working on a number of ways.
Such efforts include borrowing from the World Bank through the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) and push the district / city to conduct similar activities.
“In this way, hopefully gap of 1.35 million units can be met,” said Bhishma.
