JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Minister of National Development Planning (PPN) / Head of National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Bambang Brodjonegoro states will focus on implementing cooperation with ASEAN in infrastructure development in Indonesia.
In G2B ASEAN Infrastructure Investment Forum held on Tuesday (11/08/2016) in Jakarta, the government and the ASEAN Secretariat to discuss the focus of the Master Plan of ASEAN connectivity (MPAC), 2025.
the focus is on building the infrastructure that is capable of connecting connectivity countries in ASEAN.
“in order to accelerate the implementation of the MPAC 2025 we will focus on nine potential projects to be discussed further and require the commitment between the government and members of ASEAN as well as a business venture,” he said while giving a speech at the forum.
the nine potential projects is believed Bambang will strengthen connectivity with infrastructure implementation that consists of eight projects from Indonesia and the rest of the ASEAN members.
Nevertheless, Bambang still reluctant to tell the nine potential projects are currently and will reveal it at the exhibition Indonesia Infrastructure Week (IIW) 2016 which will take place on 9-11 November 2016 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).
“tomorrow, tomorrow I love to know,” said Bambang.
ASEAN G2B infrastructure Investment Forum itself is a marker of the start of the exhibition IIW who claimed to be the event of infrastructure and construction of the largest in Indonesia.
IIW 2016 will be attended by 600 participants from 37 countries and will feature a wide range of products and the latest technology for the infrastructure industry, construction, and telecommunications.
