JAKARTA – Adonara Group plans to add 20 new hotels by the end of 2017, while in December 2016 to open two new hotels. Adonara also expand by buying international brands Continent Hotel Group.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Adonara Group Ruben Amor, said the addition of 20 new hotels will later use Adonara local brands and international brands Continent Hotel. “To increments of 20 hotels we open a two star to four,” said Ruben told Investor Daily in Jakarta, Wednesday (2/11).
He said, Adonara will open new hotels in Bali, Makassar, Yogyakarta, Bangka, and Solo. Some of the area is a city with a high enough demand for lodging.
“There are several potential point. When it comes to the area, which makes it possible to attract investment in the provincial capital, developing district, near the airport, industrial area, the mine / plantation,” he said.
Ruben said investment to open a two star hotel or a budget of Rp30 billion to 100 rooms, with the returns for 6-7 years. Meanwhile, for four-star hotels ranging from Rp 700 million to Rp 1 billion per room.
“Return on investment for this four star about 8-10 years,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ruben said it is boosting sales through online pages (e-commerce). According to him, booking rooms through e-commerce currently reaches 30% of the overall transaction.
“We’ve acquisition Room Today Asia, one of the e-business commerse to support all business network in Asia and the Homeland, as a potential market,” he said.
