The motorway linking the city of Balikpapan to Samarinda being actively worked on. The construction project is carried out simultaneously with a target for completion in 2018.

Toll Road Project Balikpapan-Samarinda This process consists of 5 sections. With details, Section I: along 22.03 kilometers from Balikpapan Km 13 to Samboja. Section II: 30.98 km from Samboja-Muara Jawa. Section III: 17.3 km from Muara Jawa-Palaran. Section IV: 17,95 km from Palaran-Samarinda and Section V: 11.09 km.
